A friend of mine recommended this café. At first, I told her it was too far to drive from San Francisco, but after trying it, I’d happily make the trip every weekend just to enjoy what might be the best pastries in the Bay Area. Everything we tried tasted incredibly fresh, you could tell it had been made that very morning. We got the Napoleon, and the puff pastry was perfectly crisp with just the right amount of sweetness, never overly sugary. We usually order one to share, but as soon as I saw it, I decided I needed my own! My daughter finished her croissant in seconds, and the service was outstanding. The twins were incredibly sweet and made us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely be back

The owners, are 2 twin brothers, who happen to be the sweetest individuals. Every time I walk into the cafe they are extremely respectful and kind. The pastries are so unique and yum! Definitely very different than the ones you get in the usual cafes. They bake them fresh every morning. My personal favorite is the horseshoe, but I tried the chocolate danish this time. It was delicious, but I wish the pastry itself was a bit more crispy and glazed from the outside. Another favorite of mine is the berry smoothie! SO SO good and reasonable!

Great place for French patisserie and savory snacks. Great coffee and great atmosphere. They regularly have book presentations, dinner specials and cultural events. Ask the brothers who own and make it all happen! I will go back every time I am in Berkeley

I discovered Café Parisien after dropping my daughter off at school. I was hungry for some breakfast and was headed to North Berkeley to go to a familiar place. However, I noticed Café Parisien as I was driving by and decided to pull over and check it out. It was a good idea. I walked in and the case was full of tasty treats. However, since I wanted something savory, I ordered the ham, cheese and egg croissant and a mocha. It was definitely one of the best I have had in the East Bay. I love a good breakfast and I will definitely be returning to try the other pastries. The staff is friendly and the service was fast and top notch. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed and there were other customers chatting and enjoying their food.

The quality of the food is 100% homemade and fresh. Even the smoothies are made with real fresh fruit everything is prepared at the moment: real fruit, real food. They offer juices, water, and have tables to sit both inside and outside. The service is excellent very kind and friendly staff. They also serve quite fast. There are many options to choose from, and the prices are excellent for what they offer the atmosphere is very nice, music is not loud. You can come and work or study here everything is very affordable. Highly recommended! ☕🥐✨
